Jeffrey Mitchell, President

As Executive Vice President and General Manager of H.O. Penn Machinery Company, Inc., the Caterpillar Dealer for Connecticut and Southeastern New York, Jeff lead the implementation of Managing By Values at H.O Penn., which has completely transformed the culture and significantly improved the company's business results over the past 13 years. In April of 2007, H.O. Penn purchased Life Associates and The Center for Managing By Values, the company founded by Dr. Michael O'Connor. Jeff now manages the dual roles of Executive Vice President of H.O. Penn and President of this new subsidiary. He holds a B.S. in Engineering from the University of Rhode Island and an MBA from Rensselear Polytechnic Institute.

Michael J. Coyne, Business Operations Manager

Michael joined Life Associates in May 2007 after working for many years in operations and sales with companies such as Avis Rent A Car, Aramark and Kelly Services, where he gained substantial experience in the human resources field. Michaels primary responsibilities with Life Associates include managing day-to-day business operations and ensuring that the needs of both external and internal customers are met while growing the business. Michael holds an A.A. from Marion Military Institute, a B.A. from SUNY Albany, and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. He served in the U.S. Army, attaining the rank of Captain.

Sue Steffanci, Vice President of Professional Support

Having spearheaded the integration of Managing By Values® at H.O. Penn Machinery Co., Inc. as the companys Vice President of Human Resources, Sue has more than 14 years experience using the products and services of Life Associates. She has studied with and been certified by Dr. O'Connor in utilizing the tools, products and services that Life Associates uses to guide organizations and individuals toward their goals.

David Slater, Product Development Manager

A veteran of the software industry, Dave has served in a variety of positions including software engineer, project manager, product manager, consultant, instructor, director, and vice president. He has worked in diverse industries such as Pulp and Paper, Power Generation, Pharmaceuticals, Transportation, and Direct Marketing, and has played key roles in defining, designing, and implementing applications such as process-intensive MRP products, commercial web-sites, and data warehousing systems. In his most recent position, Dave advised Fortune 500 IT staffs on how to apply "best practices" for software engineering. Dave joined The Center for Managing By Values in September, 2008 to lead development of its growing suite of hosted software products. Dave holds a B.A. Degree in Economics from Westminster College, and an M.S. degree in Software Engineering from Fairfield University.

Daisy Miranda, Sales Account Executive

Daisy joined the Life Associates team in December of 2007.  Daisy is a dedicated sales professional focused on helping clients assess the current condition of their organizations and identifying the appropriate mix of tools to facilitate performance optimization.  Daisy has a wealth of experience in working directly with customers in identifying needs and direction. Prior to joining the Life Associates team, she managed a team of activity directors and an apartment community.  In addition, she provided counseling to caregivers and educated health care professionals about the disease of Alzheimers for the Alzheimers Association in Las Vegas, Nevada. Daisy holds a B.S. in Organizational Leadership and Business Communication from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York.  

Desiree Hart, Professional and Technical Support Specialist

Desiree has been with Life Associates and The Center for Managing by Values since 2004 and is located at our Training & Development Center in Naples, Florida. In her role, Desiree supports Dr. Michael O'Connor, preparing the materials for his webinars, training sessions, workshops, and conferences conducted nationwide, as well as supporting other Life Associates certified trainers. Desiree is also our main technical support specialist for the online Personal Global Profiles System (GPS), created by Dr. O'Connor which is used widely among many companies and organizations. Desiree has been instrumental in helping to improve and enhance the GPS System and its functionality.
